I am loving this weather it has been fabulous! Yesterday after the zoo trip and Colby's nap we hung out outside. It was great just to spend time in our backyard as a family I know we will spend many evenings this summer doing this! We also were able to take a walk and we brought Colby in his wagon. Since he enjoyed the wagon ride so much yesterday at the zoo I figured we would let him enjoy ours at home. But again I love this weather it has been warming up to the 60s during the day but cools off to the 30s at night.
Today we had church. Colby looked so cute in his polo and jeans. Austin said he looked like he was really for kindergarten. I swear he is just growing up too fast. I have been so excited like the last month in Sunday School we have had more kids then just Colby. It makes Sunday School so much more fun for me and for Colby. Today we had Cade, Broc and Colby. Cade just came to visit from the baby room. He is 10 1/2 months and should actually be in the "creeper" class that we started last year for Colby and Blake but since we didn't have enough teachers or children Colby's class has now gone back to the 1 year old or toddler class. But Cade is beginning to pull up and get too big for the baby class. He was probably only in there for about 25 minutes. I thought he did really well though. He is still a little small to completely play with the big boys but I think he enjoyed watching them. Once he gets mobile he will probably move though completely b/c Colby and Broc won't promote until Septemeber. Colby and Broc did really well though they also decorated Bible verse strips ofcourse Broc always seems to enjoy these activities more then Colby. So then in extended care I think Colby had a blast they decided to take his class outside. He had so much fun in fact he didn't want to come in!! After church we ate at McAlister's. Colby did MUCH better this week then last! He ate mashed potatoes and gravy we took a break from the mac n cheese. I also ordered him a ham and cheese sandwhich b/c last night he was begging to eat my sandwhich but ofcourse he wouldn't eat any of it! He also enjoyed feeding himself applesauce. He actually did pretty well for not wearing a bib and being only 1! Now we are all home for naps and hoping to enjoy the outside again after Colby gets up!
