Since being home from Disney World it seems as if life has not slown down a bit! Austin was off all week which was really nice though! So here's a recap of the week!
Wednesday we went out to get our Christmas Tree. Colby was soo excited! He loved running around the lot between all the rows of trees. Last year Austin just went and picked out a tree and the year before he was too young to know anything so this was really his first experience and he loved it! Afterwards we went to Target to get some Christmas items and things for the house. Colby did really well and seemed to enjoy his shopping trip there too.
Thursday Colby had school so Austin and I did our grocery shopping since we were almost out of food since our trip. The rest of the day we hung out around home until that evening. We decided to go out to eat and ride around to see Christmas lights. Colby loved all the lights!
Friday we took Colby and Allie to Brechtel park by my parent's house to let them both burn off some energy! They both had a blast! Allie loved the freedom of being let off her leash to explore! She even dove in the pond after some ducks! Colby just enjoyed the outside and climbing and running!
Saturday Colby had a Santa Breakfast at his school. It was sponsored by the Kiwanas. It was really good...the food was great and Colby got to sit on Santa's lap. He did really well. He is not scared of him at all. After the breakfast we stopped by Randall and Elizabeth's house to work on a Disney photo album for my parents. We then came home to rest up. That night we met his parents at Cracker Barrel. We all had fun visiting with them. Colby loved playing with his cousins Shelbi and Maggie. Its neat to see them play now.
Today was our usual Sunday school/church. In Sunday School it was Colby and Cade. Cade had an off day and was not happy during Sunday school but Colby did really well. Then Austin and I also had extended care duty. Colby got a little wound up during that but for the most part was good. The other 2 were good too. We had Cade and this little girl Veronica. Colby played with the little girl some. After church we went to lunch with our friends Josh and Laura and their new baby Jonathan. He is 1 month old. Colby seemed pretty fascinated with him. After lunch we have just been home relaxing and enjoying the last day of our vacation before Austin returns to work.
Since our trip though Colby has been having pee accidents. He was almost 100% potty trained with that until the last 2 days. Now he has had 6 accidents. It doesn't even seem to phase him either. He was almost in underwear full time but now he wets himself so much I don't know what to do! I hate to let him depend on pullups but most of the time when he's in pullups he keeps them dry...so I dunno I hope its just a quick phase. He has also been testing us a lot which I am sorta looking forward to this week getting him back into a routine and hoping he gets away from some of this behavior. I know it could be worse and I know this is normal for a 2 year old boy but still its taking a lot out me so I am just praying for patience and I just handle it all the right way!
