Disney Day 2

Our first thing this day was our character breakfast at the Polynesian. Colby really enjoyed this as did we all! We got to meet Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, and Pluto. Colby loved interacting with the characters. He wasn't shy or scared at all. It was funny too because all the characters wanted to play with his toy truck. He and Aunt Lizzie even participated in the character parade around the restaurant.
Friday was our 2nd day at Disney but really our first full day. We spent this day at Hollywood Studios. When we first arrived we went to get Fast Passes for the Toy Story ride and good thing we did b/c our time was already not set until 6:50 that night. After we got our fast passes we went on to ride the Backlot Tour. Colby liked this ride ok but it scared him a little when all the explosions and water started going off. After this ride we knew Colby needed to stretch his legs and get out of the stroller. We took him to the Honey I Shrunk the Kids play area. He loved this! My parents stayed with him while Austin and I and Randall and Elizabeth went to ride Tower of Terror. After Austin and I went back to meet up with Colby and my parents. We then decided it was lunch time. After we all ate and got back together we went to ride the Great Movie Ride. I think Colby really liked this ride and didn't get scared at all. We then let Randall and Elizabeth and my parents go back to Tower of Terror while Austin and I took Colby to Disney Playhouse Live. Colby really enjoyed this show. It was neat because he recognized all the characters from tv. He laughed and sang and clapped and danced with the show!

When we all met up again we went to the Block Party Parade. Colby enjoyed watching all the activity and even joined in the Hula hoop part. He got in the middle of the street and played with the Hula Hoop for quite awhile! After the parade Randall and Elizabeth and Austin wanted to go see the Car Stunt Show. I knew Colby wouldn't want to sit through that so during that time my parents and I strolled Colby around and found a quiet place where he could run and play. After the show we knew Colby needed a nap before dinner so we just walked around the park and he finally fell asleep. He got in about a 30-45 minute nap before dinner. We ended up having to wake him up though so he wasn't very happy at the start of dinner. He was very disoriented and confused. Finally he livened up and got happy again. After dinner we rode toy story before we went back to the hotel for the night! I think Colby really loved this ride. He especially got a charge out of his 3D glasses. Poor baby was so worn out by the end of the night it was a busy, long day! He sat on his Uncle Randall's lap though on the way home on the bus! So cute!
