I heart Mondays!

I love Mondays because Austin is usually off on those days. He has gone back to his typical schedule of Sundays and Mondays off. Sundays are so busy with church though so Mondays are really our family days and relaxing time.
Today we decided we would do a McDonald's breakfast and take Colby to the park. Going to the park has become our Monday ritual. Its so fun now to get out on a pretty day and see Colby enjoy himself outdoors. We took him to Mel Ott today. This is about his 5th hor 6th time there so whenever we pull up he knows where we are. He starts going "OOOOH" from the back. Once he gets out the car too he heads straight for the smaller playground. He knows right where to go. He is doing so well at going up the stairs and sliding all by himself. I attribute this to Gymrompers but I guess he is also getting practice with all our trips to the park too. He has a blast. He also loves running through the clover. After the park we did our other Monday thing which is go to Target. It seems like we always need stuff from there. Todays list included diapers, snacks, easter goodies for Shelbi and Maggie, dog food, pjs, etc. We always end up spending wayy too much too!
Once we got home we just hung out at home and played with Colby. We all 3 took a nap this afternoon and then once the rain started we just stayed inside the rest of the day. It was kinda nice though to not have to go anywhere else. Colby was in a great mood all day and just had fun playing with all his toys.
Oh and his new trick is...I gave him a plastic cup tonight to play with and he headed to the fridge and stuck it under the ice maker then the water he knows how to work both now....ooh no I'm in for it I think! He was cute doing it though!!
